A Tool

Quick update, and a self-berating. I was somewhat negative about my Frogger assignment at this mornings run, but simply put, it was actually a very good experience. I shouldn't have been so down about the assignment before I gave it a chance to be a success.

We started out as cheerleaders/traffic cops (there was much hand waving, and dare I say, some booty shaking from my female companions), and as the three loops became two, and then one, we were basically just cheerleaders. Though I did a bit of truncating, I tried to remind people that after they saw me for the third time, they only had 6 miles to go (OK, more like 6.3 or so, but details details). Anywho, lesson learned; volunteer and enjoy.

Volunteering rocks! I'm at the finish line of the Mini every year here in Indy. It's a blast being a cheerleader. ;)
